Obituary

METHUEN -- Anthony M. Tombarelli, 79, of 4 Oak St., died Monday at a hospital in Tewksbury.

Born in Lawrence, he was an attendant of St. Lucy Church and worked for many years at Ace Fruit Company.

Mr. Tombarelli retired in 1981 from Crown Cork & Seal where he was a machinist for many years.

He was the widower of Anne J. (Catalano) Tombarelli, who died in 1992. Family members include his daughters, Mrs. Robert (Grace Marie) Green of Lawrence and Mrs. Michael (Maryanne Patricia) Coppola of Bradford; brothers Joseph and William, both of Lawrence and Frank of Salem, N.H.; sister Ida Vaina of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to a Mass Friday at 9 a.m. at St. Lucy Church followed by burial in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.

Calling hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 tp 9 p.m. at the Cataudella Funeral Home, 160 Garden St., Lawrence.
